The sole purpose for the Pair Valve is to passively "Inject" fresh air into the exhaust system at the exhaust port, to cause ignition of unburned fuel vapor *before* it leaves the exhaust pipes. When this happens you get popping. With the SLK-Customs pair valve block off plate kit it will remove the popping and backfiring that you get on decel and when you upshift/downshift. Kit includes everything you need to get rid of the pair valve system on your Honda VTX 1300, Honda VTX 1800, or Honda VT 1300 / Fury Honda motorcycle.
