Stiffened Sinamay Millinery Fabric - Purple - 1 Meter x 90cm

Sinamay fabric is a versatile foundation fabric used in millinery and creates strong and long lasting hat bases. It is woven from the fibers of the abaca tree found in the Philippines. It is also used in floral design and other crafts. I carry two weaves - Standard, which is stiffer and has a 20 thread per inch count, and Hand Woven, which has a loose weave and slight imperfections, and is useful for trim and floral embellishments. The standard weave is available in nine colors. Multiple meter orders will be cut as a single piece when possible. All items sold by Humboldt Haberdashery are inspected and packaged in plastic for quality.
