Hydrochloric acid is a clear, colorless, highly pungent solution of hydrogen chloride in water. It is often and commonly used in concrete cleaning. It is also often used for pickling of steel, where rust / iron oxide is removed prior to further processing. It can also be used to make solutions for Soap Titrations and is commonly used in the production of PVC.
