Picture rail hooks or molding hooks are used on picture rail moulding which is mounted on the wall. Hanging art or picture frames from a picture rail allows you to display your art without making screw or nail holes in the wall.

Picture rail molding was popular in older homes and many times the molding has been painted several times. We have tested these picture moulding hooks on a variety of mouldings covered in paint and also on newer mouldings with no paint to make sure they work. The picture hook profile fits the majority of mouldings and can be slightly adjusted against the wood to fit. The narrow rail hooks are very strong and do not bend by hand.
