Description
- Also known as a castellated nut. Functionally interchangeable with slotted nuts.
- On castle nuts, the turret end is turned down enabling the lock pin to be wound against the turret.
- Lock the nut to a mated bolt by using a pin or wire threaded through the bolt and slots on the nut.
- Brass: machinable, ductile, corrosion resistant, excellent electrical and thermal conductivity.
