- Key not in unlock position: Turn the key to “OPEN/UNLOCK” before installing or removing the cap
- Cap not locked after installation: After tightening, turn the key to “LOCK” and remove the key
- Cap not aligned with threads: Reinsert the cap, make sure it sits flat, then rotate clockwise until fully locked
