1/4" Brass Electric Solenoid Valve 24V AC NPT Normally Open Air Gas Non-potable Water NBR
- Constructed of industrial grade brass, this valve is corrosion resistant, more conducive for welding, optimal for higher temperature projects, and can be used with diesel fuel, natural gas, air etc. Due to the chemical composition of brass, this valve should NOT be used with projects involving drinking water or other water projects.
- 1/4" Brass direct acting with NBR gasket.
- This highly responsive valve will open and close in less than 1 second when actuated; meaning it will open or close the flow instantaneously when energized or de-energized. Also, our U.S. SOLID engineers have determined that the life cycle of this valve is well over a million cycles with proper operating conditions and maintenance.
- PLEASE NOTE: This valve is NOT a continuous duty valve and should NOT be in continuous use for more than 8 hours in a single cycle; to do so will shorten the life of the valve and may cause the core of the valve to burn out. - As with all U.S. SOLID products, this valve comes with a ONE YEAR WARRANTY. If the valve does become defective within the first year of purchase, U.S. SOLID will gladly replace it.
- Please Note: The solenoid valve may experience leaks as a result of impurities accumulated over multiple uses. This issue can be resolved by disassembling the valve and thoroughly cleaning it.

1/4"ports, brass body, nitrile rubber (NBR) seals, 24 volt AC, for air, water, or fuel

U. S. Solid normally open (N/O) electric solenoid valve is constructed with a durable brass body, two-way inlet and outlet ports with one-quarter inch (1/4") female threaded (NPT) connections, and nitrile rubber (NBR) seals.

The coil uses alternating current and energizes at 24 volts AC with a voltage range + or - 10%. 12 Watt power rating.

Direct lift valve operates from 0 PSI to a maximum pressure of 145 PSI (0 MPa to 1.0 MPa). Operational pressure range for water: 0 to 101 PSI; for oil: 0 to 72 PSI; for air or gases: 0 to 101 PSI.

1/4" (1.8 mm) flow aperture permits a unidirectional flow capacity of 0.14 gallons per minute (GPM) of water at 60oFwith a pressure drop of 1 PSI (0.14 Cv).

Operational temperature range is 23 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit; -5 to +80 degrees Celsius. Suitable for outdoor use; not for use underwater.

Suitable for use with hot or cold water, gas, air, very low viscosity fluids (< 20 cst), oils and hydrocarbons, e.g., gasoline, kerosene, or diesel fuel.
