1/4'' Collet Reducer for Musclechuck™ Quick-Change Router Chuck
- 1/4 inch ID Collet for any Muscle chuck
- The Musclechuck (Available seperately) is Ideal for table- or CNC-mounted routers
- The extra reach afforded by the Musclechuck (Available seperately) allows you to perform above-table router bit changes in seconds
- Other Collet available for 3/8", 1/4", 1/8", 6mm, 8mm and 12mm shank bits. All work with the MuscleChuck
- This American Made chuck comes in many versions to fit most Routers. Please refure to the accompanying chart to see which type is approparate for your router.
This collet reducer slips into the Quick-Change Musclechucksâ„¢ (#43849 and #47222, sold separately) to accommodate router bits with a 1/4'' shank. Without the reducer the Musclechuck only accepts 1/2'' shank router bits, so this reducer allows for a wider use of bits. This cam free reducer means that there is no damage to the router bit shank and no slipping. Care must be taken to ensure that the slot in the reducer lines up with the slot in the Musclechuck.
