- Easy Installation – Easy LED retrofit. Connects directly into standard bases (E26 or E27), just screw into the existing socket. Note: these are NOT ballast compatible. Fixtures with ballasts must have the ballast bypassed prior to installing an LED light. HID (HPS or metal halide) always have a ballast, incandescent does not. Please check for ballast prior to install. (LEDs uses a driver, not a ballast) Unit includes internal driver.
