U.S. Solid 1/8inches Brass Electric Solenoid Valve 24V DC Normally Closed VITON
- Constructed of industrial grade brass, this valve is corrosion resistant, more conducive for welding, optimal for higher temperature projects, and can be used with gasoline, diesel fuel, kerosene oil, natural gas, air etc. Due to the chemical composition of brass, this valve should NOT be used with projects involving drinking water or other water projects.
- This valve was manufactured with a VITON seal. VITON is the most durable and high performance rubber material with the ability to resist high temperatures and corrosive chemicals and other fluids like gasoline, diesel fuel, oils, and lubricants.
- This highly responsive valve will open and close in less than 1 second when actuated; meaning it will open or close the flow instantaneously when energized or de-energized. Also, our U.S. SOLID engineers have determined that the life cycle of this valve is well over a million cycles with proper operating conditions and maintenance.
- PLEASE NOTE: This valve is NOT a continuous duty valve and should NOT be in continuous use for more than 8 hours in a single cycle; to do so will shorten the life of the valve and may cause the core of the valve to burn out. U. S. Solid Normally Closed Electric Solenoid Valve;

1/8"ports, brass body, Viton seals, 24 volt DC, for air, water, or fuel

U. S. Solid normally closed (N/C) electric solenoid valve is constructed with a brass body, two-way inlet and outlet ports with one-eigth inch (1/8") female threaded (NPT) connections, and Viton gasket.

The coil uses alternating current and energizes at 24 volts DC; voltage range + or - 10%. 4.8 Watt power rating.

Direct lift valve operates from 0 PSI to a maximum pressure of 145 PSI (0 MPa to 1.0 MPa). Operational pressure range for water: 0 to 101 PSI; for oil: 0 to 72 PSI; for air or gases: 0 to 101 PSI.

1/8" (2.5 mm) flow aperture permits a unidirectional flow capacity of 023 gallons per minute (GPM) of water at 60oFwith a pressure drop of 1 PSI (0.23 Cv).

Operational temperature range is 23 to 176 degrees Fahrenheit; -5 to +80 degrees Celsius. Suitable for outdoor use; not for use underwater.

Suitable for use with hot or cold water, gas, air, very low viscosity fluids (< 21 cst), oils and hydrocarbons, e.g., gasoline, kerosene, or diesel fuel.
