18" x 18" (17 lb.) Steel Base Plate - Includes Pin for 1.5" Diameter Pipes (For Pipe and Drape Displays and Backdrops)

This rugged solid steel base goes underneath each upright (sold separately) to provide overall stability in the display. Our Bases come with a pre-installed Edge Protector to prevent damage to floors and hands. The weight of the base, with the included base pin, is approximately 17 pounds, measures 18" x 18", and has a thickness of approximately 3/16". There are three holes punched in each base, allowing for a variety of upright placement options (however, the center hole is always recommended for the most stability). A "U-shaped" stacking slot is cut out of one of the 18" sides as well as a carrying handle for ease of storage and use.

Each base is sold with a base pin. Your selected option includes a 1.5" diameter x 6" tall pin. NOTE: This pin will only work with a 1.5 inch diameter upright. It will not work with a 2 inch diameter upright (if you have a 2 inch diameter upright, please see option for 2 inch diameter pin instead).

A flat head screwdriver is needed for screwing on the base pin, but the process only takes about 30 seconds. Once your pin is on your base securely, any standard Slip-Fit Upright (sold separately) will slip right over it. The quickness and ease of use is what makes the Slip-Fit system the most preferred style of Pipe and Drape on the market today.
