The Aranyik Extended Latin Machete is used for clearing grass, tropical vegetation, sapwood under 2" diameter, thorny brush, and other wiry brush.

Main use is in the maintenance of trails and property borders.

Aranyik is famous for it's rough, traditional design. This machete is not designed for the collector, and is an economical production designed for farmers, landscapers, and arborists, and other similar fields. The wood on the handle may need to be lightly sanded, and the edge may need to be honed. There may be small gaps between the handle scales and tang, and that is not structural, as this is a non-epoxy construction. It is peened pin construction.
