- Removes Chlorine: Chlorine is a chemical used to disinfect municipal tap water. They are known to shorten the life of DI resin through oxidation. Our 1 Stage uses an activated carbon cartridge, which not only easily removes chlorine from city tap water, but also removes volatile organic compounds (VOCs), odours, colours, THMs, sediments and tastes. This extends the life of the DI resin and increases the number of car washes.
- Purple colour-changing mixed-bed resin:We are able to see the discolouration of the resin quite directly by using a transparent housing. When the purple resin loses its efficacy, it turns brown, at which point the resin needs to be replaced. Standard Size: 10*2.5 inches. The lifespan of the resin cartridge is based on the TDS levels of the incoming water, ensuring efficient filtration.
- Saves money and easy Installation: It compares to a normal two-stage DI car wash system with an additional activated carbon cartridge for filtration that removes chlorine. This increases the life of the resin. The refillable filter saves money by making it easy to replace the resin. Includes 3/4" copper fittings and two sets of quick connectors for easy installation without the need for specialised tools. Simply replacing the cartridge maintains the overall filtration of the water, helping to reduce maintenance costs.
- Effectively reduce TDS: Ion exchange material which removes ions such as calcium (Ca), iron (Fe) and chlorine (Cl), replacing them with hydrogen (H) or hydroxyl (-OH) ions. The hydrogen and hydroxyl then reform to produce pure water.It can reduce scratches and wear on the paint during washing.
- No need to towel dry after rinsing: this three-stage car wash system is only used for the final rinsing step. You will need to wash your car normally first and rinse it with this system after it is clean, the filtered water will not leave traces when drying and there is no need to towel dry manually.
