- 30 (+Extra) Freshly Laid Jumbo Cotrunix Quail hatching egg assortment We have a mix of colors including all Jumbo in size: Pearl, Golden Manchurian and Italian, XXL White, Tibetin and Tibetin Tuxedo, Pharaoh, Sparkly Collection, Falb Fee, Egyptian, Pansy and Pansy Fee, Blue/Blau Collection, we are also starting to add in Range, Silver, Autumn Amber and Tuxedo variations of some of these colors which may be included in your order. This listing is for a mix of those colors. Jumbo refers to the size of the birds, some birds lay larger eggs than others but will absolutely be from Jumbo Size Birds. We are not offering custom colors or other sized orders at this time.
- We regularly check fertility rates and frequently incubate our own eggs for a way to be self sustainable, we enjoy quail for meat and eggs for our family and also to make sure you are getting high quality, healthy and fertile hatching eggs.
- Great for Beginners: Coturnix quail are easy to raise and make great pets for beginners or experienced poultry farmers. They are small and don't require a lot of space, making them ideal for small homes or apartments.
- Jumbo Coturnix quail mature quickly and begin laying eggs at around 6-8 weeks of age. They can lay around 300 eggs per year. Coturnix quail are hardy birds that require minimal care and space, they convert feed to eggs efficiently, and begin to lay eggs as early as 6 weeks of age. Their eggs are smaller than chicken but are considered a delicacy in many parts of the world and are a healthy and less allergenic alternative being higher in B12, Iron and protein.
- All USPS Priority Mail Is Insured! Please note if you received a package that is noticeably damaged with any cracked eggs please take photos before opening and throughout the entire process. You will need to file a claim with USPS online or in person at the post office where you will need to save your shipping box, packaging, all cracked eggs to bring to the post office or file a claim online. We use foam so this hopefully is not the case but you are protected if it does.
- Please know that if the package was damaged during shipping including being dropped that could scramble the eggs which would cause them to not be hatchable so please report any damage to the post office. Please know that especially with shipped eggs, lack of development does NOT equal infertility. Please do not purchase if you do not understand the risk, you could have any from a 0-100% hatch rate.
- Hatching eggs are best incubated within 10 days, if your package is late please file a claim with the post office, they carry insurance on priority mail. Please do not ask for a refund as we can not control the post office or how the eggs are stored or incubated. Because of these factors please understand and agree before purchasing, if you do not agree please do not purchase, we thank you for understanding.
