Kershaw's Volt SS offers a clean, sleek look and a classic clip-point blade. The design is based on the original Volt and crafted with pure stainless steel. The blade is made of high-quality 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, heat treated to Kershaw specifications, bringing out premium properties of strength, hardness and edge retention. The Volt SS blade shape is a versatile clip point, that's narrow, clipped tip provides extra cutting control for delicate tasks while having enough belly to be a good slicer. The handle is pure stainless steel with a sturdy frame lock. The Volt SS is slimmer than previous Volts, sitting more comfortably in pockets with the reversible pocketclip that offers tip-up or tip-down carry. The Volt SS is equipped with SpeedSafe assisted opening for one-handed blade opening. Simply pull back on the built-in flipper and the blade glides out of the handle quickly and easily. Both blade and handle are finished with a bead-blast, offering a non-reflective matte appearance.
