Cleaning with vinegar: revive your washing machine. To remove build-up, use 1 cup vinegar and run a hot cycle -without clothes. Make your brass, copper, and pewter shine. Dissolve 1 teaspoon salt in 1 cup vinegar and stir in flour to form a paste. Apply paste and let stand for 15 minutes. Rinse with warm water and polish dry. Clean windows. Use undiluted vinegar in a spray bottle. Dry with newspaper.
