- Holds both 3/8 squares shank and round shank tools
- Includes hold-down bolt and T-nut for mounting
This tool holder is used for tools with 3/8 round or square shanks. For example, it could be used with Sherline P/N 2256 or 2257 (2258 set) 3/8 square shank carbide insert tool holders. The round hole will accommodate Sherline P/N 2259 or 2260 (2261 set) 3/8 round boring tool shanks. It will also hold the Sherline 3061, 3063 or 3064 round boring tools made for the 3054 boring head. If you want to enjoy the advantages of using carbide inserted tip tools, this tool post is what you need to hold them.
