The 3B Scientific A10 “Stan†life-size human skeleton model is used for anatomical study, and has a three-part skull and removable limbs for easy demonstration. The A10 has a natural cast for accurate appearance, with individually inserted teeth for realistic dentition. The model is hand assembled for durability. The A10 is mounted at the pelvis on a five-foot stainless steel roller stand for convenient display, and has a plastic cover to protect against damage. Anatomical models are typically used as educational aids in medical and scientific classroom and office settings.
The skeleton consists of roughly 200 bones of approximate realistic weight, and is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic, which is corrosion resistant, lightweight, and has high strength. It resists reactions with acids, gasoline, alcohol, and hydrocarbons. The model measures 66.9 inches/170.0cm (H). (H is the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.)
