The 3B Scientific C18 human brain model is vertically (midsagittally) sectioned for anatomical study. The left half of the model dissembles into four parts with magnets for effective demonstration: frontal and parietal lobe, temporal and occipital lobe, encephalic trunk, and cerebellum. The C18 has a natural cast for accurate representation. The model has a removable base for display, and is made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) plastic, which is corrosion resistant, lightweight, and has high strength. PVC resists reactions with acids, gasoline, alcohol, and hydrocarbons. Anatomical models are typically used as educational aids in medical and scientific classrooms and office settings.
The model measures 5.1 x 5.5 x 6.9 inches/13.0 x 14.0 x 17.4cm (L x W x H). (L is the horizontal distance from left to right; W is the horizontal distance from front to back; H is the vertical distance from the lowest to highest point.)
