3M H8A Deluxe Ratchet Headgear features a high-strength thermoplastic crown protector which renders impact resistance and face protection. Headgear designed for use with any 3M face shield has an adjustable ratchet suspension with a five position pin-lock crown strap for added comfort. It gives good performance as well as protection in high heat applications and can be used in ambient air temperatures up to 300 deg F. Headgear with a floating window suspension to distribute weight and eliminate shock of impact provides durable head protection to workers in metalworking, utilities, wood working and many other industries. It offers a precision ratchet head size adjustment for a convenient snug fit and meets the ANSI Z87.1-2003 requirements.
