- Offers exceptionally high shear and peel strength
- Solvent based low viscosity coating formulation
- Dries to a tack-free film which allows bonds to be made up to 3 months later for B-staging and multi-stage processes
- Excellent wetting during cure requires only coating a single surface
- Heat press during cure recommended for lamination use
3M Scotch-Weld epoxy adhesive 2290 is a solvent-based, low viscosity Amber tinted thermosetting epoxy adhesive requiring heat cure. It is designed for metal to metal coating and subsequent bonding: for example, in motor lamination and wire winding.
