- 【Easy to Install】--- Step 1: remove top burner, drip pan, receptacle block. Step 2: Remove old block by cutting its 2 wire leads no more than 4-1/2” from the block. Step 3: Slide heat shrink tubing over both wires of new receptacle block. Step 4: Remove 3/8” to 1/2” of insulation from both range wires, attach to the wires of new receptacle block using high temp wire nuts. Step 5: Slide heat shrink tubing over the connection, heat indirectly with a match or lighter
- Step 6: reconnect your range to the outlet and turn the electricity back on at the circuit breaker, turn on the range and test the new element receptacle to ensure proper function. NOTE: Do NOT let the flame from the heat source touch the heat shrink tubing
