Will also work well with many children age 6 or above. Will work with standard Welch Allyn otoscopes but *** WILL NOT work with the Welch Allyn MACROVIEW model***. These are very high quality and fit for the Dr Mom LED 4th Generation and Professional model Otoscopes. Childrens ear canals vary considerably in diameter. Some adults also have very small ear canals. Earwax and debris also can narrow the canal. It is best to have both the large and small size specula available for both adults and children. You will want to use the largest specula you can with either group. Start with the large size on an adult and move down to the small if needed.
