450g Grappling BJJ Judo Aikido Uniform - White (7)
- We're moving our warehouse and don't want to move *everything*, so June is the best time EVER to get one of our uniforms!
- We designed these for people serious about grappling arts such as Judo and BJJ, but you could use them for Aikido, Jiu-Jitsu, MMA or any general grappling styles - though they are pretty heavy - so not so much for stand-up arts like Hapkido.
- Reinforced seams, with extra reinforcement in high stress areas like arm pits and cross stitching in the knees.
- Jacket made of a very durable single weave 450g cotton fabric (which is the same as 16oz and a bit heaver than most).
- An "elastic and drawstring waist" for a bit more comfort during workouts (as you don't have to constantly re-tie the drawstring).
The sizing on this uniform may not be what you're expecting. PLEASE be sure to check our size charts to make sure you're going to get a good fit as we want to save you the trouble of doing an exchange. (though we DO have the best exchange policy in the industry!)
This is a single weave, "bleached white" gi for Judo, Jiu-Jitsu and Aikido. This gi has a traditional "rice-grain" weave for the top and reinforced (quilted) knees for durability. It was specifically designed to withstand grappling during training and competition. Seams are reinforced - especially in the shoulders, lapel and sleeves - to ensure quality and durability.
It is made of 100% cotton and includes pants with an elastic waist (with an internal drawstring) and a white belt of matching size. We also carry other belts you may be interested in (colored belts and BJJ / black sleeve styles).
Note we also carry a "traditional drawstring" waist as a separate item in our catalog. These are the same uniforms but with a different waist style.
While this is an excellent gi for the money, it is intended for beginning or intermediate students. We offer much heavier gi's for more advanced students.
While we sell LOTS of these uniforms to practitioners of Jiu-Jitsu, we also carry a very similar uniform to this that is cut specifically for Jiu-Jitsu practice. That uniform has a thicker collar, tighter sleeves and a few other differences that might be preferred. If you practice Judo or Aikido, the other uniform would probably not work as well. If you're not sure, just ask us and we'd be happy to help in your decision.
These uniforms DO RUN SMALL compared to "standard sizes". PLEASE be sure to check our size charts before you order. Also keep in mind that a size "A2" is NOT THE SAME as a size "2". Be sure you checked the size chart to get the one you wanted.
