The RAW Cones 98 Special is a 98mm cone with a 20mm tip. Although the 98 Special Cones are longer than the RAW 1 1/4, it requires the exact same amount of tobacco to fill. Because of the smaller ember, the RAW 98 Special burns with a gentler more velvety draw. RAW Cones are often out of stock and very hard to come by. Here's the issue - RAW cones use a water-based gum that takes a long time to dry. That means RAW cones are rolled, then they have to sit for 24 hours before they can be stacked and packed. It makes for very slow production. Other brands use pure Ethyl Vinyl Acetate (Chemical glue). Their glue dries almost instantly so they can produce their cones much faster and cheaper.
