  • NEAR SILENT: this is Meinl's quietest practice pad; a special "marshmallow" foam surface absorbs stick sound and reduces spring-back
  • WHY IT MATTERS: you can chop out at any hour, in any space, without disturbing people around you; build up your hands faster by eliminating constraints on when or where you practice
  • ONE BIG THING: the marshmallow foam strengthens your muscles more than traditional gum rubber pads with its reduced rebound; the feel is similar to playing on a cloth car seat or loose tension floor tom
  • OF NOTE: you can mount this pad onto any cymbal stand; on the bottom is a universal 8 mm threaded connector to spin the pad in place on your stand—it's recessed to not scratch your desk or table
  • ZOOM IN: the sturdy and dense modern composite base is lined on bottom so the pad won't shift if practicing on a table; the lining is non-slip, plus, it creates a barrier to avoid scratches and cuts down noise/vibration
