If you're like me you have been struggling to control your weight and want to try to keep the weight off in a more natural way, rather than using drugs and chemical that cause other side effects.

So that is where this book comes into play. The author goes through and tells about some of the scary time of her life and what health issues she had before starting to eat and drink healthier. She also goes into a lot of detail about what is the science behind her juicing and what is needed to get started.
The seven day plan lays out a routine to follow with thousands of recipe variations since the author has laid out all the fruits and veggies along with what should or could be substituted for each to make another delicious recipe.

This book is really well done. Tons of information not just about making juice but also things like the best juicers, storing juice safely, shopping list, how to select produce, and the author's personal story about her journey to juicing. The 7 day plan has been really helpful since it is easy to follow. The best part is that at the end of the 7 days you feel AWESOME.
I was impressed by the support offered in this book in the form of a online community as well as the convenient (not advertise-y) links provided in the book to get you right to the equipment and gadgets you need. The author also gives a "template" for making juices, which, in my opinion, is way more helpful than just a list of a ton of recipes because it allows you to use what you like or have on hand.

This is a quick read that is easy to follow. What's nice about it is that Mariam takes the time to explain not only the why but the how. There isn't the usual fluff that you find. You get the facts where you are able to make an informed decision.
