Description

  • Also known as a castellated nut. Functionally interchangeable with slotted nuts.
  • On castle nuts, the turret end is turned down enabling the lock pin to be wound against the turret.
  • Lock the nut to a mated bolt by using a pin or wire threaded through the bolt and slots on the nut.
  • 18-8 stainless steel is functionally interchangeable with type 304 stainless steel.
  • Stainless steel significantly improves resistance to tarnishing or corrosion.
