Are you experiencing problems locking and securing your Mercedes?

Are the door locks bouncing up and down rapidly...commonly known as machine gun door locks?

Then this is what you will need

This is a common fault on these vehicles. The small spring within the door lock actuator overtime breaks causing these symptoms.

The original spring within the mechanism is thinly wound and constructed from poor quality steel which eventually corrodes, causes metal fatigue and the spring snaps.
Mercedes has never upgraded the spring in their actuators, so installing a new actuator from the dealer or even buying a used one, which will probably cost upward of several hundred $$$ plus labor, will not solve the problem.
Our kit contains four springs, one for each door actuator both passenger and drivers side front and back, along with an extremely useful set of tools for installing our new upgraded spring and a multipage illustrated guideline.

Our improved and upgraded springs are made from stainless steel to eliminate corrosion and hardened to improve longevity.

On a scale of 1-10, I would rate this task as a 5 being easy enough for DIYers with a reasonable knowledge of hand tools.
