• AMACO Underglaze Chalk Crayons Set No. 1 (#208) includes 8 assorted colors: Yellow, Turquoise, Dark Green, White, Rose, Dark Blue, Brown, and Black.
• From intense hues to pastel tones, AMACO Underglaze Chalk Crayons can be used as is, sharpened for fine detail, or dissolved in water for painting or spraying.
• Chalk Crayon sticks measure 2-3/4" x 7/16".
• Use water to help with shading and blending once the chalk has been laid down on the surface, or to create a watercolor effect.
• To reduce smudging while applying liquid ceramic pottery glaze over chalk work, mix 1 tablespoon of gum solution with 1 pint of water and spray on work before applying the liquid glaze.
• Maximum firing temperature is Cone 05 for Rose; Cone 5 for Yellow and Turquoise; and Cone 10 for Black, Brown, Dark Blue, Dark Green, and White.
• If left unglazed, Chalk Crayons should not be used on surfaces which come in contact with food or drink; food safe only when applied and fired under AMACO LG-10 Clear Transparent Gloss Glaze.
