Its' unique quilted construction allows it to be folded quickly and held together with a hook and loop fastener. Fire Quilt weighs only approximately 8 pounds for a 4' X 4'. It's black color keeps it looking in great shape!
- VERSATILE: This patented product can be used as a CURTAIN (grommets in place for hanging); BLANKET (use as a work pad to protect floors, equipment, etc.) or as a PAD (tested to hold molten metal). For special jobs, Fire Quilt can be cut to fit special size areas. The double-stitching prevents fraying of fabric.
- MADE TO HANDLE YOUR JOB: Made right here in the State of Maine, USA, Fire Quilt is constructed with a fiberglass mat between two layers of our own industrial-grade fiberglass fabric and a special black silicone coating. It's tough enough to stand on, soft enough to kneel on. Plus, it resists water and oil.

- FIRE QUILT IS THIRD-PARTY TESTED AND APPROVED FOR HOT WORK: Our Fire Quilt has the highest rating of PAD. FM Approval Standard 4950 for Hot Work Protection. AMI was the first company to have all of its welding fabrics tested to this performance-based standard. NFPA 51B also points to this standard for fire safety on the job. In addition, our Fire Quilt can withstand 15kA Maximum Arc Current ASTM F2676-19.
