AMS 401.01 Plated Soil Probe with Handle, 7/8" x 33"
- Probe has a 7/8” outside diameter and heat-treated, wear-resistant bit
- Swedged on the bit end and bored to 11/16” diameter – providing ideal clearance for easy sample removal
- Nine inch cross handle threads onto each probe
- 33” soil probes retrieve 13”L core sample
AMS Regular Soil Probes feature a window slot in the cylinder of the probe for easy sample recovery. This soil probe has an overall length of 33" with a 12" sample slot. The soil probe has been nickel plated for added rust resistance. All AMS probes are made of a sturdy chromoly steel that prevents the probe from bending or twisting out of shape. Also included is a removable, corrosion-resistant 10" cross-handle with comfortable grips. AMS also offers the Regular Soil Probe with a replaceable tip option.
