The original factory design uses standard donut type gaskets which do not really allow any room for normal expansion & contraction. This newly designed setup uses bellowed pipes and steel gaskets to solve that problem for good. This design allows for heating and cooling which will cause the pipes to flex slightly from expansion/contraction and this removes the stress from the gaskets.
