ABBA for Orchestra

Neither Bach nor Albinoni, Telemann, Handel or Vivaldi could ever have imagined the breathtaking acrobatics, depth of expression or lyricism that Gábor Tarkövi, the Hungarian star trumpeter of the Berlin Philharmonic, is able to coax from his different trumpets. Together with Peter Kofler he performs the transcriptions of works from the baroque with such style, taste, energy and authenticity that they all sound like originals!
