- Adornville's Brass Bezel wire is smooth and malleable. It is ready to accept your finish, or use it as is for that "gold look". It's color is similar to 14K yellow gold. If you love the look of 14k gold, but not the price, this may be a perfect alternative.
- Treat it the same as you would copper. Along with copper, brass wire fires well with BRONZclay, bronze sheet and findings, offering you a wider range of design options.
- Made with 85% copper and 15% zinc, it is also known as red brass, NuGold, Jeweler’s Bronze or Merlin’s Gold. It is Nickel and Lead free.
- This wire is of a dead soft temper and should be handled carefully. Anneal as necessary. Temper or hardness is changeable by annealing or work hardening. Brass nor copper cannot be heat-hardened. The harder the metal is after finishing your design, the brighter a finish it will take.
- The wire is coiled and packaged in a reusable plastic bag.
