If you have questions about adult bullying; what it is, why it happens, suggestions for addressing the problem or even how it might be preempted, the answers are here. I felt as if the author, Pam Lutgen-Sandvik, was having a conversation with me, anticipating and then answering my questions about the concepts in each chapter, such as what constitutes bullying, the prevalence of bullying in the U.S., resistance to bullying, and why women bully women.

This book is a compilation of her work. It is not written by an egghead. The subtitle refers to her “translating” research into plainspeak. That’s what she is profoundly good at doing well...
