Hand Woven on the beautiful hills and valleys of Rwanda by local female artisans, this stunning basket comes in unique colors and patterns. For this pure handmade we use locally grown grasses such as sisal and sweetgrass. Sisal fiber is extracted from the plant, hand-dyed and weaved with ability and patience around the sweet grass. It takes one to two days to create this work of art. Each basket has a loop on the back, making it easy to hang on a wall. For use, you can mix them for an awesome wall basket collage, entryway bowl, as a table or furniture display or as a gift (definitely a hit of a gift).
