Alemite 3053-B Thread Forming Fitting, 45 Degrees, 1/4" Special Taper

This Alemite 3053-B thread-forming fitting has an angle of 45 degrees and a 1/4"-28 special taper threaded end for applications where a grease fitting is needed for an untapped hole. The trivalent zinc plating gives it durability and makes it resistance to corrosion, exceeding a 72-hour salt spray test. It has a 3/8" hex size, and its 1/4"-28 special taper threading is for an untapped recommended hole size of .230" to .235" to create a leak-proof seal. This grease fitting holds in lubrication in the assembly being lubricated and is used for applications such as lubricating motor vehicles, construction and industrial equipment, and aeronautics.
