Smooth-On Alja-Safe™ Lifecasting Alginate Molding Powder, 20-lb Box
- Certified Skin-Safe Alginate - Perfect for Making Single-Use Molds of body parts (hands, feet, face, etc.)
- Easy to Use - Simply Mix 1 Part AljaSafe Powder with 1 Part Warm Water (80° F/27°C) (by volume) to make a mold - cures in about 8 minutes – follow instructional videos!
- Pour plaster, resin, gypsum & more into Alja-Safe Molds to make detail-accurate castings
- NO Crystalline Silica!
- NOTE: Not suitable for Dental Applications – Always Follow All Warnings & Instructions
Alja-Safe alginate is suitable for making temporary molds of the face, hands or other body parts. Alja-Safe captures detail better than other alginates, and contains no free crystalline silica, a known carcinogen contained by other alginates. Alja-Safe is easy to use and cures quickly. You can then cast plaster and other materials into the mold to make a reproduction.
