All Alone in the End / Thunder Island / Real Life Ain't This Way

Digitally remastered two CD set containing a trio of albums from the Rock/Pop singer/songwriter. Having secured his place in U.S. music history with classic albums as singer and principal songwriter for both Spirit and Jo Jo Gunne, Jay Ferguson signed a solo deal with Asylum Records. Linking up with Eagles producer Bill Szymczyk and guitarist Joe Walsh and his band, Ferguson recorded these three albums between 1976 and 1979. The title track of 'Thunder Island' has recently been used in the hit series Breaking Bad, and Ferguson is now known for writing the theme for the US version of the Office. The booklet features all the lyrics, and annotation by Paul Myers, based on an interview with Jay Ferguson conducted exclusively for this release.
