- The compact ZED range of mixers feature the same high-level audio and build quality as A&H’s large format touring consoles, with separate internal channel boards, Neutrik connectors and every pot fixed to the chassis.
- Full, clear and detailed preamps with low noise, 60dB of gain and 48V phantom power bring out the best in any microphone. Two of the mono channels also have a HiZ connection to allow direct connection of high impedance sources without the need for a separate DI box.
- A built-in, studio quality multi-FX unit provides 16 different, tweakable FX types including reverbs, delays and modulation with tap tempo to keep everything in time. These are not your average compact mixer FX either, using algorithms developed entirely in-house by our DSP experts rather than an ‘off-the-shelf’ chip.
- The routable stereo USB output can be used to record/stream the whole mix, Aux and FX sends or the dedicated record bus which has switches on each channel which make it super easy to select just some channels for recording. It’s also class compliant and does not require drivers, meaning not just Mac and Windows computers can be connected, but also many mobile devices such as tablets or even smart phones.

Live or in the studio, ZED60-14FX from Allen & Heath is a compact, portable mixer that is ideal for small bands. This mixer is a guitarist's dream. Two of the 8 mono channels have high impedance jack inputs that can take a normal line level or a low level input from a guitar pickup, so guitars can be plugged straight into the mixer without the need for DI boxes. These inputs have been crafted to recreate the sound of a classic tube preamp in a combo or head amp for incredible definition and warmth. Two stereo inputs are provided for MP3/CD players or keyboards. ZED60-14FX comes with configurable USB audio in/out, making it easy to capture a stereo recording at the gig or in the studio. The mixer is equipped with professional XLR main stereo outputs, a flexible monitoring section with headphone and speaker feed outputs, and 16 stunning FX.â€¨Most important of all, ZED60-14FX lives up to the audio and build quality standards that have made Allen & Heath one of the most trusted names in professional audio for more than 40 years. The ZED60-14FX comes with a full duplex USB soundcard built-in, many useful routing options and a separate stereo return channel. An extremely high input impedance ensures loading on pickups is minimal and a Class A FET circuit powered from 48V is employed to give the value-like gain stage. ZED60-14FX features a responsive 3-band, swept mid frequency design which utilizes MusiQ with optimized slope for equalizing individual instruments. An essential selection of 16 time-delay effects has been designed with small groups in mind who don't want to carry around an effects unit with their gear but who still want great quality FX at their gigs and recordings. Allen & Heath continues to use separate vertical PCB construction on the ZED, borrowed from our large pro-audio mixers. Even with the smallest SED, every one of its controls is solidly PCB mounted, and every potentiometer is nutted to the front panel.
