The SGS-CH01 lets you add an Alpine rear or front view camera to your factory Jeep screen, even if your screen doesn’t come with a camera input (cameras sold separately). The SGS-CH01 unlocks the camera input of the radio and re-programming of the radio is not needed to allow the camera to be added. When a rear camera is used, the SGS-CH01 overlays Active Guide Lines onto the screen image to help with parking and distance perception.
To accommodate two camera systems on the Wrangler, the SGS-CH01 can be used with the KCX-C2600B Universal Camera Switcher (sold separately). The KCX-C2600B comes with a dash-mountable button to toggle between the two cameras and to switch between the camera views.
The SGS-CH01 is compatible with the 2007-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK. It’s also compatible with 2007-2018 Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge vehicles that have the My GIG radio, including the RER, REN, RHB, RBZ and RHR models.
