Aluminum Anodizing Pigment Dye Sealer MT-90 - Liquid Nickel Acetate

Anodizing Dye Sealer MT-90 is used to seal in the pigment on the anodized aluminum surface.
Appearance and Characteristics: Anodizing Dye Sealer is a translucent green liquid. It is a mid-temperature, low foaming nickel acetate sealer.
Use: It is to be used on clear, organically dyed, and two-step electrolytically colored anodized aluminum.
Purpose: It creates a non-yellowing, smut-free surface to anodic coatings. This easy to use sealer, when working within the recommended parameters, will meet current seal tests.
Specifications and Operating Parameters Specific Gravity: 1.09 Tank: Stainless steel Water type: Reverse osmosis or deionized preferred (adjust pH to 5.0-5.5 before adding MT-90) Concentration: 1.5-5.0% by volume pH: 5.3-5.8 (Raise with ammonium hydroxide, lower with acetic acid) Temperature: 160-190° F Time: 5-20 minutes Other: Filtration & moderate agitation recommended. It is best to use separate tanks for clear and dyed pieces.
Storage and Safety: Store in a cool, dry place, away from alkaline materials. Make sure it does not freeze. Over time, crystals may appear at bottom of container. MT-90 may cause skin irritation on contact. Use protective eyewear and gloves. Consult the SDS for more information.
