Jesse Colin Young was one of the founding members of the Youngbloods, and had even bigger success as a solo artist, having numerous charting albums throughout the 1970s on Warner Brothers Records. In 1978, he switched over to Elektra Records and released American Dreams which reached #165 on the Billboard charts. This album features the 17 minute "American Dreams Suite".
