This Anderson Metals fitting is a brass garden hose connector with a 3/4" female hose ID on one end and 3/4" male threads tapped with 1/2" female threads on the other. The hex garden hose fitting connects male and female hose and pipe of different diameters. It has male threads on one end and female threads on the other for connecting to a female and a male threaded hose or fitting. This fitting is made of brass for corrosion resistance, ductility at high temperatures, and low magnetic permeability. Brass can be connected to copper, brass, plastic, aluminum, and welded steel.
