I own a myTouch 4G. My typical daily uses include Whatsapp, Twitter, light browsing, checking addresses and directions, and a couple of games. On my stock battery, the charge lasted 6-7 hours on average. So, if I took it of off the charger at 7 AM, by lunch time I had to recharge the battery again. The Anker battery lasts for at least twice as long! There were a couple of instances when I used the GPS to find directions. When I got home at 9 PM, the battery still had 25% of charge. That was 14 hours on a single charge. Since there was still some juice left, I would guess the battery could last for at least another 3-4 hours. I think on my daily use, the battery will last 18-20 hours on average. That's more than enough for me.
Last but not least, I received the order a day earlier than expected. Kudos for the seller!
These batteries deliver on every expectation. They fit my HTC Thunderbolt as advertised, and after the first full charging they have performed with better than expected battery life. MY original 2 year old battery was quite weak. I could watch the power meter go down during a train ride to work. Now I can depend on a single battery throughout the day.
Let me summarize this review by first saying that if you are looking to spend money on a battery solution for your phone, this product is GREAT! (If you don't want to spend any money, then you need to keep using your carrier to get fresh batteries every so often--tell them it takes 2 days to charge with the phone off, and they'll replace it).
I bought this product after 2 stock Verizon-supplied batteries were "killed" by my Thunderbolt. By "killed", I mean the batteries bloat and swell. When this happened, the battery life would jump randomly between 100% and 0%. Like, start at 100%, then after 20 minutes it's at 60%, then it dies. Then I turn it back on and it's at 85%. Then it dies. Etc. Also when it bloats, the back cover does not make proper antenna connections, so the signal would jump between 4G, and 1X/No Service all the time. All Completely random. So after the second time this happened, I decided to look for an alternative solution. I stumbled upon this...
