Green LEDs guide OPEN-circuit tracing, while red LEDs guide SHORT-circuit tracing. As you move along the wire, both the visual and audible signal change together—helping you identify where the signal weakens or disappears, even in a noisy garage.
- **LOCATE HIDDEN OPEN AND SHORT CIRCUITS** Stop replacing fuses, switches, lights, or other parts without knowing the real cause. Connect the transmitter to the circuit, then move the receiver along the wiring harness. The signal guides you toward broken wires, loose connections, and shorts to ground, including faults hidden inside wrapped harnesses or behind interior panels.
