- CONVENIENCE: The field service mat is a complete kit for working with ESD sensitive items in the field. Secure the ground cord to the mat. You can use the banana plug end of the ground cord and plug it into the outlet plug adapter to connect to ground via outlet. You may also use the included alligator clip to secure to reliable ground. Tighten the wrist strap to your wrist and plug the banana plug end of the coil cord into the ground cord receptacle.
- PORTABLE: The mat include two 8"x12" pockets that allow you to store items in the mat and fold up for easy storage and convenience. The edges are bound for durability and the outer layer is resistant to punctures and tears providing you a long term solution for your portable ESD needs.
- GROUNDED: Once the mat is grounded, the work surface cannot hold static charges. The conductivity of the material ensures that the boards or components will be protected from the static charge existing on the carpet, tile or table top beneath the mat. The mat has a resistivity range of 10^6 - 10^9 Ω
- STORAGE: By storing and transporting your mat and components in the included ESD Safe Pouch, your mat and components will stay cleaner, stay protected and LAST LONGER, reducing replacement costs.
- CLEANING: Clean the portable work surface with an approved Cleaner for Static Control Mats. It may also be cleaned with mild detergent and water. Most strong solvents are not recommended. The wrist band can be cleaned by hand washing or in a standard washing machine.
