White Wall Tires hard to find? Many sizes are no longer made or very expensive. Get that classic look for your car or bike - from a can! Whitewall Tire Paint is a specially formulated rubberized paint with excellent bonds to most types of tires. Costs only a few dollars per tire. Perfect for all cross-ply tires and most radials. Water-based formula is easy to apply and clean up. Application is easy: Lightly sand off any embossed lettering with 180 grit discs, then buff smooth with 400 grit. Wipe down the area with naphtha or paint thinner. If you need to mask, use a very narrow tape to easy application to the curve. Using a soft bristled brush or sponge brush, apply 4 coats, leaving 4 hours between coats.
