- Glow in the dark or UV pigment is composed of strontium aluminate with rare earth elements europium and dysprosium - Pigments come in multiple particle sizes ... 18-25, 30-40, and 45-60 microns. Choice of particle size is based on brightness desired (larger particles glow brighter; smaller particle glow is ~10% less bright) and application (smaller particles result in a smoother finish and may be needed when using an air brush or other spray tools).
